This site exists to make power-to-weight math instant and trustworthy for engineers, cyclists, tuners, and curious learners.

What the calculator does

• Real-time P/W in W/kg, kW/kg, or hp(I)/lb with instant updates and decimal control.
• Power units: mW, W, kW, MW, GW, hp(I), hp(M).
• Mass units: µg, mg, g, dag, kg, t, gr, dr, oz, lb, st, US short ton, long ton, “Earths”, electron rest mass (me), atomic mass unit (u), and troy ounce (oz t).
• Share helper: copy a concise summary of your result for posts, reports, or messages.

Why we built it

Comparing vehicles and athletes across sizes can be confusing. We wanted an interface that’s obvious on first use, mobile-first, and friendly to both SI and imperial habits — so you can switch units without breaking your flow.

What we care about

• Accuracy & clarity. The math is transparent; examples are included for cars, cyclists, and hp-per-lb scenarios.
• Privacy by default. No account is required to use the calculator. We keep data use minimal and transparent.
• Performance & accessibility. Clean UI, sensible focus states, and smooth interaction on mid-range phones.
